What we do
PowerWorx supplies, installs, hires out and maintains diesel generating sets. We are based in Harare and we work across Zimbabwe — shops and surgeries at one end, mines, farms and construction sites at the other.
HIMOINSA is our main line: Spanish-built sets with service centres in Southern Africa, so parts and factory support are reachable rather than theoretical. We import from South Africa and China, and we supply other makes where they suit the job or the budget better.
Increasingly our work is prime power — sites the grid has not reached — alongside standby sets for the interruptions nobody schedules.

An oversized set wastes your fuel every day it runs. Talking you down to the right size costs us margin once and earns the next three jobs.

Quotes in writing, before work
On service calls we diagnose first and quote before touching a spanner — not after. On sales, the quote covers the set, the installation and the running cost.

Whatever badge is on the canopy
We service what you own, not only what we sold you. Fault finding, alternator and panel work included.

History on record
Contract customers get scheduled visits with the service history kept, so the next technician knows what the last one did.

Where solar is the better spend for your site, we tell you — and wire the changeover so the two work together.
We publish what we can prove
This market is full of claims that do not survive a phone call — guaranteed response times with no number attached, fleets nobody has seen. We would rather publish less and have all of it check out.
So: our hire rates are on the site. Claims about the grid are dated and sourced, so you can check them. And anything we have not verified, we do not say. If something matters to your decision — who we have worked for, what is in the yard this week — ask us directly and come and see.
