What we collect, and what happens to it.
This site collects almost nothing, so this page is short. It says exactly what we hold, where it lives, and how to have it corrected or deleted — in plain English, because a privacy policy you cannot read is not a policy.

Browsing: we collect nothing
This site sets no cookies and runs no analytics, advertising or tracking scripts. If you read every page and never send the enquiry form, we hold nothing about your visit. Our hosting provider keeps ordinary short-lived server logs of requests, as every host does, and we use those only to keep the site running.
The enquiry form: we keep what you send
When you request a quote or contact us through the site, we keep what you put in the form: your name, email address, message, and — if you provide them — phone number, company name, the product you asked about, quantities, hire dates and any files you attach.
Alongside the form, our server records the IP address and browser identifier the request came from. That is there for one reason: the form is rate-limited to stop automated abuse, and if someone floods it we need to know which connection to block. We do not use either for tracking.
What we do with it
- Your enquiry is stored in our own database and emailed to our sales team, and you get a confirmation email with a reference number.
- We use it to answer you: to work out sizing, prepare your written quote, and carry on the conversation you started.
- If you become a customer, it becomes part of your customer record.
And what we will not do with it: we never sell it, never share it for marketing, and never add you to a mailing list. Sending us an enquiry gets you a reply to that enquiry, nothing else.
Where it lives
Like most websites, this one runs on international infrastructure, so what you send us is processed outside Zimbabwe by three providers working under our instructions: Vercel hosts the site, our database is hosted by Neon on Amazon Web Services in London, and Resend delivers our email. None of them may use your information for their own purposes.
How long we keep it
Enquiries are business records, so we keep them while they are relevant — an enquiry can turn into a quote, and a quote into a job, months later. If you want yours gone sooner, ask, and we will delete everything the law does not require us to keep.
Your rights
Under Zimbabwe’s Cyber and Data Protection Act [Chapter 12:07] you can ask what we hold about you, have it corrected, or have it deleted. Email info@powerworx.online and we will deal with it — there is no form to fill in and no fee.
The customer portal
The customer portal and staff application at app.powerworx.online are a separate, sign-in-only system. Signing in there sets a session cookie whose only job is keeping you signed in. What we hold about you as a customer — orders, hires, service history, invoices — is part of doing business with us and is governed by your agreement with us, not by this page.
When this page changes
If what we collect or who processes it changes, this page changes with it and the date at the top moves. We do not change it quietly.
